The heart of our estate lies in Connigis, in the Vallée du Surmelin, which runs perpendicular to the Vallée de la Marne. Here stands the Château de Connigis, a historic site whose origins date back to the 16th century.
It is within this château (part of Andréa’s family heritage for several generations) that we chose, in 2015, to build our winemaking project and create our brand, Champagne Paul Maurice.
Our 8.5-hectare vineyard extends across Connigis, Gland (Baptiste’s childhood village) and Charly-sur-Marne. We mainly grow Meunier on clay-limestone soils, working together every day with the desire to showcase our terroir, bring our land to life, and craft sincere, authentic champagnes.

While some of our champagnes are still made within the local cooperative, we have also chosen to develop our own winemaking at the estate.
Just above the château lies the Les Sautours parcel, one of the oldest on the estate. It is here that our first single-parcel cuvée is born. A champagne that reflects our everyday life, in every sense of the word.
The wines crafted at the estate are conceived as intimate creations, striving for precision and emotion.
This dual approach allows us to combine collective expertise with more personal experimentation.
